Introduction
These terms govern your use of the FixMyVibe.codes website and our bug-fixing and code review services. By using our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Services
FixMyVibe.codes provides professional bug-fixing, code rescue, architecture review, and ongoing maintenance services for software built with AI code generation tools. We offer four service tiers:
- Quick Fix Triage — under £500. Fast diagnosis and targeted fixes for specific bugs.
- Code Rescue Package — £500–£1,500. Comprehensive review and fix of a single application area.
- Full Application Rehab — £3,000–£8,000. End-to-end assessment and remediation for production readiness.
- Ongoing Maintenance — from £500/month. Retainer for continuous code health and bug prevention.
The exact scope of work is agreed before each engagement begins. We fix bugs and improve code quality — we do not build new features unless explicitly agreed in writing.
Free code assessment
Our initial code assessment is provided free of charge with no obligation. The assessment gives you an honest overview of the issues in your codebase. It does not include fixes — those are covered under a paid service tier.
Payment terms
Prices are listed in GBP (£) and are exclusive of VAT where applicable. Payment is required before work begins. We accept payment via bank transfer or online payment methods as communicated during onboarding.
If payment is not received within 14 days of invoice, we reserve the right to pause or terminate the engagement.
Scope and changes
The scope of work is defined before each engagement begins. If you request work outside the agreed scope, we will provide a separate quote. Additional work will not begin until the new scope is agreed and paid for.
Intellectual property
You retain full ownership of your code and project. We do not claim any rights to your codebase or intellectual property. Our internal tools, methodologies, and processes remain our intellectual property. Any code we write as part of a fix becomes your property upon receipt of full payment.
Confidentiality
We treat all code, project details, and business information shared with us as confidential. We will not share your code or project details with third parties without your written consent.
We are happy to sign a formal Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) upon request before you grant us access to your repository.
Limitation of liability
Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific engagement in which the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel an engagement at any time by contacting us at hello@fixmyvibe.codes.
- If work has not yet begun, you will receive a full refund.
- If work is partially complete, you will be charged for work delivered up to the point of cancellation.
- Completed work is non-refundable.
Dispute resolution
We aim to resolve any disputes through good-faith discussion. If we cannot reach a resolution within 30 days, disputes may be referred to a mutually agreed mediator before either party pursues legal action.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through mediation will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
