Who we are

FixMyVibe.codes is a UK-based professional service that fixes bugs in AI-generated software. We trade as FixMyVibe.codes. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at hello@fixmyvibe.codes.

What data we collect

We collect two categories of personal data:

  • Contact form data: when you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company or project name, AI tools used, app or repo link, problem description, budget range, and how you heard about us.
  • Analytics data (only after consent): pages visited, time on site, browser type, device type, and approximate location (country level). This data is collected via PostHog.

Why we collect it

We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:

  • Contact form data: legitimate interest — we use this information to review your project and respond to your service enquiry (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
  • Analytics data: consent — we only collect analytics data after you click Accept on our cookie banner (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).

How we use your data

Form data is used solely to review your project and respond to your enquiry within 24 hours. We do not use your contact details for marketing without your explicit consent.

Analytics data is used to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. We do not sell or share your analytics data with third parties for advertising purposes.

Cookies

We use cookies only for analytics, and only after you give consent via the cookie banner at the bottom of the page. PostHog sets the following cookies after consent:

  • ph_* cookies — used by PostHog for session identification and analytics.

No cookies are set before you give consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the footer or clearing your browser cookies.

Data processors

We share data with the following third-party processors:

  • PostHog (analytics) — processes analytics data on our behalf after consent. Data may be hosted in the EU or US. See their privacy policy.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — will process contact form submissions when our backend is connected. Data is hosted in the UK/EU. See their privacy policy.

Data retention

Contact form data is retained for 12 months from your last enquiry, then permanently deleted. Analytics data is retained per PostHog's standard retention period (default 12 months). You can request earlier deletion by contacting us.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict how we process your data
  • Object to our processing of your data
  • Receive your data in a portable format (data portability)

Right to complain

If you believe we have not handled your personal data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.
